3 days I have spent here at the CMT, walking through endless isles of Caravans, converted vans turned from the ordinary into an extraordinary place to call home, innovations ranging from the mobile toilet of your dreams to the most creative and practical ways to craft your new living space on wheels along with all the components needed. Shining luxury caravans of 500,000 Euro worth to expedition vehicles embodying the words ‘freedom’.
So, here I am with an empty van standing at home waiting to be converted and am overwhelmed with the ideas, innovations and concepts that flood my mind from that which I see before my eyes. A solution for the toilet problem, check. Th safeguarding of my van, taken care of. The most magical and practical van concept and layout, all pictured. Besides the clarity and joy CMT gives me with its boundless and distinct offer for every kind of free-spirited mind. From luxury to adventure, from simplicity to self-sustainability and efficiency.
I must confess though, my eyes felt attracted not only to the van life but also to the ‘tents’ that pop up from the back of a pick-up and the many roof tents. Even the small VW vans. Every different vehicle with its different styles epitomizes distinct possibilities of life. The adventures of life and the way in which it can be lived.
